Property Development

Lawler Partners has acted for a number of property developers and large construction enterprises. Our experience in this regard has included advice on taxation, stamp duty, land tax, GST, payroll tax, structuring, planning and positioning to manage personal guarantees. Other areas of consultancy have included syndication, joint ventures, budgeting and feasibility, cashflow planning, information technology support systems, funding submissions and project management systems and support. Of particular value to our clients is the fact that we were able to provide constructive advice and input from a broad background of commercial experience rather than a traditional accounting viewpoint.

We have established numerous unlisted trusts and provided ongoing advice in relation to regular audit and financial reporting, unit register and unit holder reports and information.


Mergers and Acquisitions

Lawler Partners offers extensive capabilities for companies interested in merging with or acquiring other businesses. We assist with strategy, corporate governance, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, taxation, financial modelling and funding. The transaction may include buying minority or majority stakes in companies, management buyouts and joint ventures with strategic partners.


Leveraged Buyouts

We have advised private equity and management groups on structuring and implementing buyouts of operating businesses with the objective of maximising the value of their investment in the acquired entity. In addition to our normal acquisition services, we structure the transaction and arrange for financing.


Capital Raising

Our key services in this area include: 

  • Business Plans, Feasibility Studies & Financial Modelling; and
  • Investigative & Independent Accountants Reports in support of Information Memorandums and Prospectus documents for initial or subsequent public offerings.

We also have relationships with private and public venture capital and investment providers and have assisted a range of organisations through venture capital raising, preparation for IPO and participated in the due diligence teams through to underwriting and placement on the ASX.


Business Disposal

We regularly advise existing and consulting clients on business disposal.
