Lawler Partners, the nationally recognised accounting and business advisory firm, announced today that they have joined forces with marketing and advisory firm CMP Consulting. The announcement follows Lawler Partners wins earlier this year as Australia’s Best Small Accounting Firm and Best Small Professional Services Firm (turnover under $20 million p.a) in the BRW-St.George Client Choice Awards 2006.
The leading driver behind the joint venture is to further enhance client service by providing a broader team of highly skilled and qualified professionals specialising in the hospitality and gaming industries. With over 150 employees and offices in both Sydney and Newcastle, Lawler Partners is in a strong position to service the hospitality industry in metropolitan and regional areas. To complement this, CMP Consulting have access to a number of different markets with offices in Sydney and Brisbane.
Increasing concerns and awareness about challenges the industry is facing, in particular, the significant impact that the complete smoking bans will have on the industry have played a prominent role in commencing the joint venture to ensure clients receive the most accurate data and research coupled with the skill and experience of specialised consultants in both firms.
“The hospitality industry will naturally look for external help during the difficult times ahead and this is where Lawler Partners and CMP Consulting will come in,” said Mark Anderson, Principal (Queensland) for CMP Consulting. “Between both firms we have a broad range of hospitality clients, who will benefit from the wide variety of specialised services we both offer.”
Lawler Partner’s Managing Director Terry Lawler stated the joint venture was consistent with the firm’s growth strategy and the constant desire to increase the value offered to clients.
“CMP Consulting was an excellent cultural fit for our firm due to the great synergy between both firms. There is a natural alliance as our philosophy of focusing on client service, innovation, value and care is the same, as is our commitment to the hospitality and gaming industries,” Mr Lawler said.
CMP Consulting’s Principal (NSW) John Vicary agreed with Mr Lawler, further stating, “the extensive marketing and research strength of CMP coupled with the financial and consulting strength of Lawler Partners will provide a formidable range of specialised services for hospitality and gaming venues. This, combined with our expanded executive recruitment operations, will provide a one stop shop for the industry”.
