Our Approach

Services most often provided by the Business Recovery and Insolvency team in the area of reconstruction are:

• Meeting/negotiating with financiers and reorganising (and minimising) the cash outflow in respect of debt servicing.
• Arranging and meeting with creditors on both formal and an informal basis to arrange "work out" programs whereby supply of essential products is continued while past debts are extinguished over an extended period of time.
• Meeting with directors and/or shareholders, (and other family members where appropriate) to explain to them the current situation, the ramifications and their rights and obligations given the circumstances the business currently faces. This also includes advising the directors (and shareholders) of their responsibility under the Corporations Act.
• Undertaking the preparation of business recovery plans.
• Undertaking a review of the organisations structure.
• Being available on a day-to-day basis so as to ensure all problems encountered are addressed and dealt with on a timely basis.
