Westminster Building Co Pty Ltd (In Liquidation)
John Vouris and Bradley Tonks of business recovery and professional services firm Lawler Partners Chartered Accountants were appointed Joint & Several Liquidators to Westminster Building Co Pty Ltd (In Liquidation) on 4 October 2011 after a resolution was passed by its members.
The Company is a construction business specialising in residential properties. The Company operated mainly in Western Sydney and the Central Coast New South Wales.
According to Joint Liquidator John Vouris, “We have ceased trading the Company’s operations and employee services have been terminated. We are still in the process of determining the Company’s true financial position and we are looking to sell the business to maximise any return to creditors”.
“We are working in conjunction with the Office of Fair Trading to seek a successful outcome for homeowners. In this regard we have a designated email address: westminsterenquiries@lawlerpartners.com.au and the Office of Fair Trading have a designated hotline: 1800 451 301.”
“The first creditors’ meeting is to be held on 20 October 2011. At that time we will report to creditors as to the position of the Company and the progress of the Liquidation.”
