Opportunities for Cadets, Undergraduates and Graduates

The Lawler Reach Program  
     
    

Lawler Partners annually invites students enrolled in or completing their university/TAFE studies to apply for our cadet/undergraduate/graduate program - The Lawler Reach Program.

Waiting to catch the right break in your career? The Reach program offers the opportunity to kick start your accounting career whilst completing your university or CA studies part-time in either our Newcastle or Sydney offices. The program provides exposure across a number of key accounting disciplines during the 12 month program including:

 

  • Audit and Assurance 
  • Business Advisory Services 
  •  
     

    A key focus for Lawler Partners is providing the opportunities and encouragement for continuous learning and development of all employees to ensure they achieve their goals and become the best they can be.  Lawler Reach Program employees receive guidance and support from senior staff as well as generous study support and flexible work options. Following the completion of the program, trainees will have a well rounded base of knowledge in these areas to allow them to fast track into their chosen specialised business unit.

    2012 Program

    Applications for the 2012 program are now closed.

    Applications are currently being reviewed over the coming weeks. Interviews will take place in early July to determine successful applicants for the program commencing in January 2012.

    This year the program will offer the Reach 'Experience' which involves 1 month rotations in each of the 3 key business units providing valuable exposure and knowledge. Following this 3 month program the same placement process will occur to select your preferred business unit to continue developing your career with the firm.

    Current Programs

    The Newcastle and Sydney Reach Trainees for the 2011 Program have completed their initial Orientation in the Sydney office.  They are progressing well through their first rotations and looking forward to utilising these skills to broaden their knowledge base with their second business unit rotation in early May.

    The 2010 Reach Trainees have recently selected their preferred business unit. In conjunction with business unit needs and feedback, these trainees have been permanently placed in their unit of choice to continue their career development.

    Reach Trainees within the 2008 & 2009 programs have successfully completed the program and commenced permanent employment within their chosen business unit and are individually progressing their career.
