Mitch is a Partner of the Newcastle Business Recovery and Insolvency team.
In addition to his time spent at Lawler Partners, Mitch also gained experience with a national insolvency firm in Sydney working on major insolvency and workout projects, before returning to Newcastle to re-join the firm.
Mitch is experienced in all forms of formal insolvency administrations and has extensive experience in conducting informal workouts and independent business reviews on behalf of financiers.
His recent engagements include:

Independent Business Review of a construction project. The engagement involved the analysis of the viability of completing a project consisting of 16 residential apartments and 5 commercial spaces.
- Independent business review of a recreational fishing equipment wholesaler. The engagement involved review of the Company's cashflow requirements and the impact a change to trading terms with two large retail chains would have on its ability to service current debt levels.
- The Independent Business Review of a heavy vehicle repairer and retailer. This engagement involved a review of the Company's forecast and preparation of integrated financial model to determine funding requirements and the Company's ability to continue as a going concern.
- Receivership of Newcastle based Pharmacy involving the trade on and ultimate sale of the Business.
- Liquidation of large Newcastle based steel fabrication business.
- Deed of Company arrangement of Geotechnical drilling company.
- Independent business review of a NSW based dairy farm. The engagement involved review of the forecast and its ability to service secured debt.
