Kylee Dare

Kylee is a Director of Lawler Partners and has been practising since 1989. She currently leads a team of experienced professionals in our Business Advisory Services team who provide accounting and strategic advice to clients.

Kylee’s areas of specialisation are in business planning, human resource strategy, management consulting, succession and estate planning, business development, strategy and taxation. Her clients include Australian privately owned enterprises and foreign owned subsidiaries.

Some of her key assignments have included:

  • Assisting foreign owned companies to set up business in Australia and actively manage ongoing success
  • Succession issues for family owned businesses including exit strategies
  • Detailed estate planning for high net worth individuals
  • Acquisition and disposals including negotiation, due diligence, contracts and implementation
  • Property developments from conception to ultimate disposal
  • Executive share option plans – design phase through to implementation
  • Long term retention strategies
  • Assisting clients with executive recruitment
  • Assisting growth companies with development and compliance to Corporate Governance policies 

Kylee has also provided advice to an impressive client list across a broad range of industry sectors including property development, hospitality and gaming, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, professional services, advertising and finance.

Her professional background incorporates ten years with second tier firm Howarth in their Sydney partnership, where she held the position of Tax and Business Services Manager.

In addition to Kylee’s client responsibilities, she also plays a significant role in the development of strategic initiatives for the firm including human resources and learning and improvement programs for staff.

Kylee sits on an Industry Advisory Committee for Newcastle University. The Committee supports the School of Business in Employee Relations and Human Resource Management. In addition, Kylee is a member of Women on Boards, the leading advocate for improving gender diversity on Australian boards.

Kylee has been working with our clients in their education and preparation for Fair Work Australia through seminars and workshops and with the assistance of Deputy President Rod Harrison of the NSW Industrial Relations Commission.

Kylee was previously a Director of the Hunter Business Chamber, which has over 2,000 members and is the independent representative organisation for Australia’s largest regional business community. In addition to her directorship, Kylee was the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Hunter Business Chamber.
