John is a Partner in our Sydney Business Recovery and Insolvency team and has over 30 years experience as an Insolvency Practitioner. John was also a Partner at Vouris & Bell Chartered Accountants for the past 9 years prior to the merger with Lawler Partners in 2006. He has a diverse range of experience and has handled insolvency matters for industries as varied as Computing, Film Production, Gold Mining, Manufacturing, Retailing, Transport and Travel.
John’s primary experience has been gained through both formal and informal insolvency administrations, reviews and solvency assessments for banks and other corporate entities and litigation and valuation assignments. He has successfully negotiated settlements with banks and creditors together with the sale and purchase of businesses and is highly regarded both within and outside the profession.
John also has significant experience in the Hospitality and Gaming Industry particularly in relation to Registered Clubs, where he has been actively involved in both appointment and advisory roles to
