Darren is a Partner at Lawler Partners where he leads the specialist Taxation Team and has over 20 years experience in public practice, with the last 10 years in a full time tax advisory role. He has an extensive knowledge of GST, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and NSW State Taxes. His role also includes the continuing focus and development of the firm’s dedicated and experienced taxation team and its services.
Darren provides specialist tax advisory services across the full spectrum of the clients of Lawler Partners, from closely held family business clients right through to the taxation issues faced by our large corporate and international clients.
Darren has worked across a wide range of industry sectors including manufacturing, engineering, financial services, health, professional services, primary production, property development, wholesale, retail and hospitality and gaming.
In addition to providing a value for money and highly practical service to our clients, Darren writes technical articles for taxation reference materials and journals used by other professional tax advisers. He also teaches and examines in all levels of courses provided by the Tax Institute, currently sits on the NSW Education Committee of the Tax Institute and is a frequent presenter for them.
